About Us
We are not a church built around a set of beliefs you must accept or a name for God you must use. We are a church built around direct spiritual experience. Our faith is rooted in what you discover for yourself—not only in what you read in a book or hear from a pulpit, but in the wisdom that emerges through your own lived experience. We believe that each person has the capacity to communicate with their deepest self, to seek guidance, healing, and truth through direct relationship with the sacred.
The Wonderland Church exists for those who believe the path to spiritual understanding runs through the body, not around it. We regard entheogenic sacraments not as shortcuts to enlightenment, but as ancient teachers. Human beings have worked with these sacred plants for millennia in ceremony, healing, and spiritual practice. We honor that relationship with reverence, intention, and respect.
Our members come from every background and tradition. Some are former Christians. Others are lifelong atheists, practitioners of Buddhism, Islam, Indigenous spiritual traditions, or paths with no name at all. What unites us is not a shared creed but a shared conviction: that the sincere use of entheogenic sacraments for spiritual purposes is a sacred religious practice, and that these plants have profound wisdom to offer those who approach them with humility and intention.
We are an interfaith community. We do not ask you to abandon your beliefs at the door. Instead, we welcome you to deepen your own spiritual path through direct experience of the sacred.
